This has been a meaningful experience for me. I have registered into this college since 26th May 2003 and barely after 2 months; I have been involved in a fashion show organized by the college. It was my very first experience working on something which would be presented to the public. Everything had to be perfect starting from the drafting, paper-cutting, cloth-cutting, sewing and all the finishing.
For my first fashion show, I made 2 garments. I have chosen combination of black and gold. This goes with the theme, “ELEGANCE” which carries the meaning of elegance, affluence and sophistication. As you can see, black gives an elegant look even when the design is simple. In addition, with the use of gold lace, it enhances the elegance of the wearer which we know that women are synonymous to gold. The use of gold shawl as accessory brings out the feminist of the wearer. IFTC have a team of good lecturer, where there are very professional in teaching and they are very patient to teach each of every student. I am very glad and joyful to join IFTC. I hope to be a successful designer in future. |
