Dear friends,

I am proud to be writing this address to express my pride and sense of success in seeing IFTC achieve what it has done today. When I founded IFTC as a small fashion school to spread my own experiences over 30 years ago, never did I imagine that the IFTC reputation could establish itself into what it is. Many years of hard work and perseverance have gone into building our fashion programmes and teaching standards into what they are and no doubt many more years will go into the constant development and re-tuning of our course material to suit the needs of the ever-changing fashion industry.

My sincerest appreciation goes out to my teaching and administration staff for their dedication and endless devotion in spreading the knowledge and techniques of creative fashion and for opening the eyes of the future generation of designers. Their contribution and assistance have been one of the key contributors in helping build the IFTC reputation. IFTC has come a long way in establishing itself as one of Malaysia's premier fashion education institutions and we have achieved so much to help develop the local fashion industry.

We at IFTC are dedicated in our cause to develop the fashion industry in Malaysia and the region and in creating a new generation of designers and fashion leaders, we hope to be at the backbone of this revelation and progression by providing the best guidance and education system in fashion studies available in the market today. It is with this pledge and commitment that we take our task seriously in building and developing the local fashion industry, which contributes to a significant portion of our country's export and gross domestic product.

Words and pictures cannot truly describe our enthusiasm in welcoming the new era in the fashion industry. We welcome you to see for yourself and to interact with our dedicated staff and current students so that you may get a better feel of what a future career in fashion can offer.
